There are so many valuable resources available to all of us these days. For you, our Thinker followers, we are pausing from our typical article to share some helpful opportunities we have learned about recently. It’s natural to share what we like with those we care about. Read further to learn about an offering from Brooks Bible College, 2Restored Counseling, and High Speed Luke+. Each has a different focus and opportunity to grow in knowledge or faith, and often both.
Brooks Bible College Course
The first opportunity is one that you may be familiar with. We have announced various class offerings from Brooks Bible College in the past, mainly taught by Professor Brian Rickett, who has appeared in Patterns of Evidence films. This course is a special “community course” that will be offered from August through September and is called EGYPT IN BIBLICAL HISTORY.
The special “community course,” means that anyone is allowed to take the course as an auditor without applying to Brookes Bible College or enrolling as an approved student. Here is the course Description: Examines ancient Egypt’s history from prehistorical times, which corresponds to the time between Noah’s flood and the tower of Babel, until the end of the first century AD, which is right when the canon of the Greek Bible was closing. The following topics also will be studied: geography and hydrology, chronology, royalty and religion, archaeology and excavations, capitals and key sites, social structures, foreign relations, trade and economics, language and literature, monumental architecture, weapons and warfare, and death and burial practices.
The course Instructor is Professor Douglas Petrovich, Ph.D., M.A., Th.M., M.Div. Petrovich was in the film ‘Patterns of Evidence: The Moses Controversy’ and the author of Origins of the Hebrews book. 2Restored Counseling
Relationships are part of every person’s lives so relational strife or struggles also are part of every person’s relationships.
