Forgiving my Father – The Journey Home

Behind the Story of The Journey Home film

Summary: Fathers are human and can make mistakes raising their children. And the sad reality is that many homes are broken, leaving millions of children without an earthly father.

“..as far as the east is from the west, so far has he removed our transgressions from us.” – Psalms 103:12

This week we are looking at the question of Trust. Can we trust our heavenly Father? The answer is YES! Yet many of us struggle with trusting God because we have had a bad experience in our own life because our earthly father wasn’t trustworthy.

PERSONAL

While making the new film Patterns of Evidence: The Journey Home, director Rick Altizer, who recently directed the Kendricks Brothers film Show Me the Father, started to uncover a deeper thread in Tim’s life. Tim and his siblings had a dark secret in their past that had been buried under sadness, pain, and anger.

Why was Tim so focused on making these films about the Bible? What had happened in his own life that gave him the courage and tenacity to create the Patterns of Evidence investigations?  Learn how Tim was able to find forgiveness and redemption with his own father’s relationship.

Here is an excerpt from a recent Interview with Tim Mahoney and Director Rick Altizer sharing about his personal father relationship.
